The life of an ambitious, Type-A doctor gets turned upside down when she gets fired from her dream job and returns home to work in her father’s Harlem-based clinic. She soon learns that unconventional tactics are the only way to manage this irreverent group of patients. Things quickly go from bad to worse when her father retires and her ex-boyfriend creeps back in the picture.
